En 2003, Vicky Jean-Louis a lancé sa première entreprise à Hawkesbury en soumettant son plan d'affaires au programme d'Entreprise d'été du Ministère du Développement économique et du Commerce. Elle a dû démontrer qu'elle était la candidate idéale pour entreprendre la gestion d'une entreprise seule, à l'âge de 15 ans seulement.
Ayant grandi dans un milieu artistique, Vicky réalise jeune qu'elle est douée dans le domaine des arts. Elle voit les possibilités de réaliser un rêve lorsque sa persévérance et sa ténacité sont mises à l'épreuve afin de promouvoir son talent.
Tout récemment diplômée en Conception graphique du collège Algonquin, Vicky continue vers la réalisation de son rêve ultime - devenir illustratrice pour enfants.
Vicky explore actuellement la vie à travers différents médiums artistiques et elle s'en inspire à chaque instant... Elle ose dans ce monde et s'exprime avec l'art. L'art est sa façon de communiquer avec l'univers.
Vicky est aussi membre de la Société des auteurs et illustrateurs pour enfants (SCBWI)
Médiums utilisés: Acrylique sur toile. Aquarelle, crayon de plomb, crayon-feutre et stylo sur papier.
Programmes informatiques: Adobe Illustrator CS5, Photoshop CS5, InDesign CS5 Autodesk SketchBook, Corel Painter Sketch Pad.
Outils technologiques: Wacom Cintiq 24 pouces HD, caméra digitale Nikon D7000 avec divers objectifs.
Passion: les couleurs, la typographie, la photographie et les montages vidéos.
In 2003, Vicky Jean-Louis started her first business in Hawkesbury after submitting her business plan to the Summer Company program from the Ministry of Economic Development And Trade program. She had to prove that she had what it took to be a leader, and that she could run a whole business, all by herself, at the age of 15 years old.
Growing up in an artistic environment, Vicky realized that she had a special talent in anything related to art. She remembers that she has always been able to see the potential in any of her dreams. As long as you put perseverance and talent together, you can achieve anything.
Recently graduated in Graphic Design from Algonquin College, Vicky continues to work hard towards her dream - to become a children's illustrator.
Currently exploring life through different mediums, she inspires herself with each breath that she takes... She ventures in this world and expresses herself with art. Art is her way of communicating with this world.
Vicky is also a member of the Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators.
